Donor Opportunities

Dear Present and Future Donors,

The International Women’s Club of Sofia is pleased to announce that preparations are underway for its 16th Annual Charity Bazaar.

Although the Bazaar presents us with a day of fun and entertainment, it serves as the principal source of funding for the IWC’s selected charity projects. The money raised from last year’s Bazaar has to date totalled  309,520.85 BGN.

This endeavour has enabled us to provide much needed humanitarian aid and fund educational, health and training programs throughout Bulgaria.

The Annual Charity Bazaar is the result of 100% volunteer efforts and the generosity of local and international businesses. We are therefore asking if you would consider supporting this cause. We welcome donations of goods and finances from individuals or corporations. You may choose to fund a specific project or make a general donation. In either case you can be assured that we monitor and follow up on every project.

We are aware that the current, critical world-wide economic situation makes raising the funds for our projects even more challenging than last year. However the needs that our Charity Foundation supports are just as critical as in the past. So we are looking for your help this year more than ever.

The IWC expresses its gratitude to donors in several ways, such as an acknowledgement in the IWC Newsletter, on our website, and in the following year’s Charity Projects brochure. This year the logos of our Gold Donors (those who donate 500 leva or more) will be displayed on the day of the Bazaar, to be seen by thousands of visitors.

We thank you for your consideration.

Yours sincerely,

IWC Charity Bazaar Team
