Welcome back! I hope you all had a fantastic vacation. As we start off the new year, we have many activities
planned for you during the upcoming months. I hope you have as much fun enjoying them as I have had arranging them! In January, we have a wonderful jewelrymaking class and workshop by experts from the Marabu Beads and Jewelry store. You can also look forward to the fabulous Valentine’s Ball we have planned for you in February. March and April will take us away on exciting weekend trips to Istanbul and other destinations. You are welcome to sign up for the monthly events at the Monthly Coffee morning or at other events. You can also call me to sign up in advance. We are always open to improvements, so you are welcome to approach me with any suggestions and recommendations for future events.

The General Assembly has been called to vote on the proposed amendments to our constitution. Please remember to sign up for the events and activities during this meeting. 16 January (Monday) from 10:30honwards – “Tease Me: Experience Different Teas and Traditions From
Around the World”. We invite you to a unique opportunity to learn about various teas from around the world
and the accompanying customs and traditions. Members from Britain, India, Japan, Turkey, and other countries
will demonstrate their tea traditions at Lynne Godding’s home. You will also get to taste delicious tea

18 January (Wednesday) from 11:00-13:00h – Lozenets Coffee Morning. If you would like to share a cup of
coffee in a cozy environment with members from your own local area (Lozenets and center), then this is the

20 January (Friday) from 10:30-12:30h – Jewelry-Making Class and Workshop. We have organized a wonderful jewelry-making class and workshop in collaboration with the teachers from the Marabu Beads and Jewelry store at their school. You’ll be taught how to make a bracelet and earrings or necklace using various techniques. The fee per participant is 20 BGN. Maximum seats available: 11 people. 23 January (Monday) from 10:30-12:30h – Talk on Self-Esteem: “How to Help Your Children Develop Into
Responsible and Happy Adults”, by Nora and Gisli Jonsson at the IWC office, Business Park Sofia, Mladost IV.
