The first Stallholders’ meeting for the Annual Charity Bazaar 2014 was held at the Park Inn Hotel on the 17th September with more than 60 people, representing 35 nationalities, attending! IWC President Lynne Godding welcomed every one and said how happy she was to see so many, participating this year. Lynne also shared her excitement about the forthcoming bazaar, which will mark its 20th anniversary this December.
Bazaar Coordinator Angela Bird announced a special competition to commemorate the occasion. She said, “This year to celebrate an extraordinary 20 years of the IWC Charity Bazaar, we would like every stall to take part in a special stall decoration competition. We would like every stall to decorate a ‘20’ logo in their own style and choosing. The only condition is that the 20 is used. It can be any size and made of anything you wish. (paint, wood, material, food, etc.) It will then be displayed on your stall during the day of the Bazaar. The Bazaar team will then choose the best three. The overall winner will have their design on the cover of this year’s Charity Bazaar ‘Thank you’ brochure. We would like every stall to take up this challenge to help make this year a very special one!”
A meeting for first-time Stallholders will be held on Thursday, 2nd October at 14:00 in the IWC Office and the second Stallholders’ meeting will take place at the British Ambassador’s residence on Tuesday, 14th October 2014 at 10:00.
