Angela Bird

Angela is from England, after living in Spain for the previous six years, she relocated with her husband to Sofia in the summer of 2010.

Her professional career has been in office administration and management. She was also Director of an American car import business.

Angela joined the IWC in 2010 and has been an active member from the beginning. She was Second Vice President in 2011/2012, Entertainment Coordinator for the Annual Charity Bazaar in 2012/2013, Bazaar Coordinator in 2014/2015 and this year has taken on the role of President.

Angela loves spending time investigating all that Bulgaria and the surrounding area has to offer and making visits home to the UK and Spain to visit family and friends.

Nadya Wuisan-Bratanova

Nadya is originally from Jakarta-Indonesia. Her family moved to Brisbane-Australia when she was 14, and continued living there until she graduated with a double bachelor degree in International Human Resource Management and Commerce. Brisbane and the university is also where she met her Bulgarian husband.

Her journey has given her many fulfilling experiences. When she moved to Bulgaria in 2009, she started working as the international liaison for marketing in her husband’s construction company.  After that she had the opportunity to work as the secretary of the Ambassador at the Indonesian embassy in Sofia. Then she moved to Bali-Indonesia where she started a Wedding organization and Decoration Company, which has given her great pleasure and grand memories.

Now, she is back in Sofia and is a doting mother of a two year old. Yet, she is very enthusiastic and eager to expand her experiences and her next journey in life

Nadya enjoys singing, movies and socializing; she is also active in sports, where she manage a twice-a-week bootcamp at the park which is followed by expats and international ladies & mothers. She is also an avid Pilates devote where she also teach in her spare time specializing on rehabilitation and special cases.

This is her first year on the IWC board as the vice president. Her main focus and area in the club is for events and activities. She is looking forward to a great year where she hope to present much exciting and fulfilling activities for the ladies.

Kelsa Smith-Mouskourova

Kelsa is from Los Angeles, California, USA. In December of 2009, after marrying a Bulgarian Diplomat, she relocated to Sofia with her husband.

Her professional career has been in office administration, finance, management and industrial relations. Recently, Kelsa has been involved in charity work and supporting her husband in his position.

Kelsa joined IWC in 2010 and was an active member and Treasurer until September 2011 when her husband was posted to Toronto, Canada. She returned to Sofia in September of 2015 and resumed her role as Treasurer and active member of the Charity Foundation.

Kelsa’s hobbies include travel, reading, charity work and cooking. She loves exploring new countries and feels at home here in Bulgaria.

Toi Castelló i Reñé

Toi comes from Spain and she has been living in Sofia for almost eight years.

Her background is in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. She has always worked in the Tourism Industry, in different countries around the world (Germany, France, Italy, USA, etc.), in different hotel departments and more than 15 years as a Hotel General Manager for a Spanish Hotel Company based in Mallorca, which also has hotels in Bulgaria.

Toi came for the first time to Bulgaria in spring of 2003 to open a hotel at the seaside. There she met her husband, a wonderful Bulgarian man, and after three summers opening hotels on the Black Sea she decided to get married, gave up her carrier and moved to Bulgaria.

Toi joined the IWC in 2011 and, after helping at the Charity Bazaar last year as a Stallholder Coordinator, this will be her first year on the board. She is very excited and is also convinced that she will enjoy the experience.
